Boy Scout Troop 288 is chartered by Trinity Lutheran Church in Dallas, Oregon.

If you would like to join Troop 288 please attend one of our meetings or contact Scoutmaster Ken Irwin. Troop meetings are held on most Tuesdays at 7pm, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Dallas, Oregon.

  • Camp Staff Interviews coming soon
    CPC summer camps will hire 300+ staffers to serve 10,000 campers this summer, and have a wide variety of positions available.  Persons interested in working at summer camp this summer are invited to interview on Friday, February 3 (Salem) or Saturday, February 4 (Portland).  It's easy to get started - just send in an application and mark your calendar for interviews.  For more information and to download an application, please visit www.cpcbsa.org/campstaff.

  • December Calendar Changes
    The December Court of Honor has been cancelled.  There will be a Committee Meeting on 12/6 at 7pm. 

    Bell Ringing for the Salvation Army will be on 12/19.  Contact Pam Dalton for more information.

  • Family Life Merit Badge
    Family Life Merit Badge meetings are postponed until Wednesday May 18th (to be held at the usual time and place).

  • SUMMER CAMP: CAMP PIONEER JULY 17-23, 2011
    The Early payment deadline for Summer Camp is May 15. The troop needs payment by May 10
    • For Early Payment the cost is $259.
    • Between May 15 and June15 the cost is $269. 
    • After June 15 there may be no spots left. 
    Additional costs: 
    • Travel fee: $10
    • Merit Badge classes: some cost $5 - $15 (see camp guide)
    • Spending money for the Trading Post 
    Parents: for more information speak to Ken, Dan Carlson, or any Assistant Scoutmaster 
    For financial help/resources/fundraising: speak to Ken or Debbie S.
